Transgender-affirming activists have torn a student’s bible to shreds outside a screening of a new documentary unpacking gender-related issues. “What is a Woman?” – presented by conservative commentator Matt Walsh – has already received a divided reception amongst critics and viewers. Outside a screening at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a young man was reading the gospel aloud when two activists grabbed the bible and started to rip out the pages. The documentary includes scientists, medical professionals and commentators from a range of backgrounds, including psychologist Jordan Peterson. The documentary-maker is currently on a tour of colleges across the US, hosting screenings of the film. He slated the heads of the school, who had allegedly warned students about Walsh’s appearance prior to his arrival, saying he held views “we believe are harmful toward our trans community.”
