Over Easter, churches across Fremantle united for At the Cross, a powerful public expression of faith. From 21 April for 10 days, 12 large posters were positioned in the Freemantle CBD, each one telling an aspect of the Easter Story. These posters came alive with video when scanned with a mobile. The response was incredible, with over 15,000 scans—Good Friday being the most active day. More than just a digital experience, At the Cross sparked meaningful curiosity and gospel conversations throughout the community. One of the most profound outcomes was the visible presence of Jesus’ followers in public spaces—outside the church walls—engaging with passers-by in real time. With strong momentum and growing awareness, the churches are committed to bringing At The Cross back for Easter 2026, in the same form or something similar.
